The company recorded a turnover of \u20b928,339 Crores in FY 2024\u201325 and has a presence in 88 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Position Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Post:<\/strong> Assistant Technical Consultant (Pharmacist)<br><strong>Location:<\/strong> BHEL Electronics Division (EDN), Bengaluru<br><strong>Number of Positions:<\/strong> 01<br><strong>Period of Engagement:<\/strong> Initially for 2 years, extendable by 1 year at a time or till completion of assignment (whichever is earlier). The maximum tenure is 5 years or up to 65 years of age (whichever is earlier).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Assistant Technical Consultant will assist and guide BHEL in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Procurement of medicines through rate contracts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Issuance of medicines to BHEL\/EDN beneficiaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting regular and periodic medical check-ups for employees above 40 years and their spouses, and for workers in hazardous areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting doctors in scrutiny of bills from empanelled hospitals\/labs\/doctors and employees (serving and retired).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entry and record maintenance of bills received from empanelled entities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance of stock registers for medicines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compliance with statutory obligations related to bio-medical waste, ambulance, and paramedical staff contracts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance of pharmacy software for medicine accountability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordination with empanelled hospitals, labs, clinics, pharmacies, and medicine manufacturers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overall management of the Occupational Health Centre (OHC).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>a) Age Limit (as on 01.11.2025):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Not more than <strong>63 years<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants retired under VRS will be considered only after attaining 60 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Ex-Servicemen, engagement duration shall be up to 5 years or till 65 years of age (whichever is earlier).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>b) Educational Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full-time <strong>Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)<\/strong> or higher qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>c) Experience (as on 01.11.2025):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum <strong>20 years of work experience<\/strong> in the field of pharmacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>d) Eligible Applicants:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Retired employees (Artisan level or above) from PSUs\/Autonomous Organizations\/Central or State Government\/Statutory Bodies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications will be scrutinized by a committee.
