<strong>Central Drugs Testing Laboratory (CDTL), Chennai<\/strong>, under the <strong>Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO)<\/strong>, invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <strong>Post: Senior Scientific Officer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Type of Appointment:<\/strong> Deputation (including short-term contract)\/promotion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Number of Posts:<\/strong> 01<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Officers<\/strong> from Central\/State Governments, Union Territories, Universities, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Organisations are eligible if they:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hold an analogous post<\/strong> on regular basis;<br><strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Have 5 years of regular service<\/strong> in Level 10 (\u20b956,100 \u2013 \u20b91,77,500);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AND<\/strong> possess the required qualifications and experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <strong>Educational Qualifications (Essential):<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Master\u2019s degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized university\/institute:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chemistry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biochemistry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pharmacy \/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pharmacology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bacteriology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medicine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microbiology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biotechnology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience (Essential):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum <strong>5 years\u2019 experience<\/strong> in drugs testing, standardization, and research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcdc <strong>Important Notes:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maximum age for appointment on deputation: <strong>56 years<\/strong> (as on closing date).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Period of deputation should not ordinarily exceed <strong>4 years<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Departmental officers
