The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), established through the ANRF Act, 2023, invites applications from eligible candidates from Pharma, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and related fields for the post of Scientist-G.

Eligibility Criteria
A. For Direct Recruitment
Essential Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in any discipline listed in Schedule I OR
- Master’s degree in any discipline listed in Schedule II (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, etc.)
Essential Experience
- 21 years of R&D experience in Industry/Academia/Science & Technology Organisations.
- 2 years experience in planning, managing, or directing S&T programmes.

Desirable Qualification
- Post-Doctorate in a discipline of Schedule I OR
- Doctorate in a discipline of Schedule II.
Note: Experience calculation rules as per ANRF norms (time spent obtaining essential qualification may not count; special provisions apply for PhD duration).
B. Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract)
Eligible officers from Central/State Governments, UTs, Statutory/Autonomous Bodies, Universities, or recognized Research Institutions:
- Holding analogous posts, OR
- With 5 years’ regular service in Level-13A (₹1,31,100 – 2,16,600).
- Must possess the educational qualifications and experience required for direct recruits.
Age Limit for Deputation:
- 58 years (Scientist-G) as on application closing date.

- Number of posts may vary. ANRF may shortlist candidates based on suitability.
- Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed 2AC train fare.
