The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Raebareli (NIPER-R)—an Autonomous Institute of National Importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India—invites applications for the following purely contractual positions under its Medical Devices Program.
1. Assistant Professor (Contractual)

Maximum Age: 40 Years
Consolidated Pay
- ₹70,000/month – M.Tech + 1 year relevant experience
- ₹75,000/month – Ph.D + <1 year experience
- ₹80,000/month – Ph.D + ≥1 year experience

Essential Qualification
- M.Tech/Ph.D in:
Biomedical Engineering / Medical Devices / Bioelectronics / ECE / EEE / EIE / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering / Life Science / Pharmaceutical Science - Consistently good academic record
Essential Experience
- M.Tech with relevant teaching/research/industry experience in medical devices OR
- Ph.D in the relevant domain of medical devices
Desirable Expertise
- Design & development of diagnostic/therapeutic devices
- IoT & AI/ML in healthcare
- Microfluidics, Lab-on-a-chip, biosensors
- Materials for implants & biomedical engineering
- Medical device regulations & quality assurance
- Point-of-care & IVD technologies
- 3D printing & rapid prototyping of medical devices
2. Teaching–cum–Research Assistants (Contractual)

Consolidated Pay
- ₹35,000/month (No additional benefits)
Essential Qualification
- B.Tech / M.Sc / M.S in:
Biomedical Engineering / Medical Devices / Bioelectronics / ECE / EEE / EIE / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering / Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Science - Consistently good academic record
Desirable
- Teaching / research / industrial experience
