CARI Recruitment 2025: Walk-in Interview for M.Pharm, B.Pharm, MSc in IMR Research Project
The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Kolkata has announced a walk-in interview for recruitment of eligible candidates under the IMR Research Project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with M.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Sc., BVSc qualifications to work on advanced pharmacology-based research projects. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Vacancy Details – CARI Recruitment 2025
1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – Pharmacology
- No. of Posts: 01
- Project Title:
“Evaluation of Acute, Subacute (28 Days) and Chronic (180 Days) Repeated Dose Oral Toxicity Study of AYUSH-56 on Experimental Animal Models” - Project Duration: Till completion of the project
- Essential Qualifications:
- M.V.Sc. (Pharmacology) / M.Pharm / M.S. (Pharmacology) / M.Pharm (Ay.)
- M.Sc. (Medicinal Plants) with specialization in Pharmacology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology and 2 years’ research experience
- Desirable Qualification: Hands-on experience in laboratory animal handling
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2025
- Monthly Salary: ₹42,000 + 30% HRA
2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Pharmacology
- No. of Posts: 01
- Project Title:
“Evaluation of Vidangadi Lauham, a Classical Ayurvedic Formulation in the Management of Diabetes in Experimental Animals” - Project Duration: 1 year 6 months
- Essential Qualifications:
- BVSc / B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- M.Sc. in Zoology or Biotechnology from a recognized university/institute
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in animal handling techniques
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2025
- Monthly Salary: ₹37,000 + 30% HRA = ₹48,100 per month

- The initial appointment will be for six months, extendable based on performance and project duration.
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. of India rules for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
