The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for purely temporary positions in various research projects funded by national and international agencies (DST/DBT/ICMR/CSIR/ANRF, etc.).
Available Positions & Eligibility
1. Project Scientist (PS) – I/II/III
- Age Limit: PS-I: 35 yrs | PS-II: 40 yrs | PS-III: 45 yrs
- Emoluments: ₹56,000 + HRA (PS-I) | ₹67,000 + HRA (PS-II) | ₹78,000 + HRA (PS-III)
- Qualification:
- PS-I: Ph.D. in Science / M.Tech / M.E. or equivalent
- PS-II: As above + 3 years’ R\&D experience
- PS-III: As above + 7 years’ R\&D experience
2. Research Associate (RA) – I/II/III
- Age Limit: 40 yrs
- Emoluments: ₹58,000 + HRA (RA-I) | ₹61,000 + HRA (RA-II) | ₹67,000 + HRA (RA-III)
- Qualification: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent, or 3 years’ research/teaching/design experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one SCI-indexed research paper.
3. Project Associate (PA) – I/II
- Age Limit: 35 yrs
- Emoluments:
- PA-I: ₹31,000 + HRA (NET/GATE qualified) | ₹25,000 + HRA (others)
- PA-II: ₹35,000 + HRA (NET/GATE qualified) | ₹28,000 + HRA (others)
- Qualification: Master’s in Natural/Agricultural Sciences / MVSc / B.E. / B.Tech / MBBS or equivalent. PA-II requires 2 years’ R\&D experience.
4. Project – Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Age Limit: 35 yrs
- Emoluments: ₹31,000 + HRA (NET/GATE qualified) | ₹25,000 + HRA (others)
- Qualification: PG degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/PG degree in Professional Course.
