Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (HBCH & RC), New Chandigarh—a 300-bed tertiary cancer care centre established to serve patients from Northern India—invites eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for the following posts:
1. Scientific Assistant (Tissue Bank)
No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: Up to 30 years
Salary: ₹35,000/– to ₹40,000/–
Interview Date: 11.12.2025
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Pharmacy/Microbiology/Life Sciences/Biological Sciences/Allied Health Sciences with minimum 50% marks, and
- Degree/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized institute with 1-year experience in relevant field OR
- B.Sc. (MLT) with 2 years’ relevant experience.
2. Scientific Officer (Molecular Pathology & Bio-Repository)

Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Salary: ₹40,000/– to ₹45,000/–
Interview Date: 12.12.2025
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- M.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry/Applied Biology/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/Medical Genetics
OR
M.Tech in Biotechnology/Life Sciences
with minimum 60% marks from a recognized institute. - Minimum 1-year documented experience in a Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory (Histopathology, Immunohistochemistry, and/or Molecular Pathology).
- Preferred:
- Hands-on experience in Sequencing Techniques and RQ-PCR
- Proficiency in English & computer skills
- Experience with Quality Assurance and Accreditation processes
- Not Eligible: Candidates with B.Sc./M.Sc. degrees obtained through distance, correspondence, or open university modes.
