About IPC
The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, is responsible for updating the Indian Pharmacopoeia, publishing the National Formulary of India, providing Reference Substances, conducting skill development programs, and functioning as the National Coordination Centre for PvPI and MvPI.
Position: Senior Scientific Officer (EWS Category)
Essential Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Pharmacology / Microbiology
OR Associateship Diploma of Institution of Chemists (India).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical research/analysis or related areas.
Desirable Qualifications
- Ph.D. in the relevant field.
- Research experience with published papers and/or drug analysis experience.
- Good knowledge of computer applications.
Age Limit
- Up to 40 years (as on closing date).
