All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh invites applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the CSIR Research Project (Letter No. 37WS (0110)/2023-24/EMR-II/ASPIRE dated 20/06/2024). The appointment will be on a purely contractual and temporary basis for a time-bound research project.
Position Details
- Position Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

- Project Title: To investigate the association of metalloestrogen and epigenetic changes in ovarian endometriosis: An exploratory and in-vitro study
- Department: Biochemistry
- Project Tenure: 36 months (initially for six months, extendable based on performance and project needs)
- Mode of Interview: Physical (no online option)
Job Description
- Collection and processing of biological samples
- Performing biochemical and molecular biology experiments
- Data analysis and bioinformatics-related tasks
Essential Qualification
As per CSIR guidelines for Research Scheme (www.csirhrdg.res.in):
- B.S. (4-year program) / B.Pharm / MBBS / Integrated BS–MS / M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks
- Must have qualified NET or GATE
Age Limit
- Upper age limit: 28 years (as of last date of application)
- Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/women/physically handicapped candidates as per rules
Fellowship
- ₹37,000/- per month (1st & 2nd Year)
- ₹42,000/- per month (3rd Year upon upgradation)
